What to Wear: Theadora Abbeyluxe

For this week's what to wear post, we worked with Theadora Abbeyluxe in Homewood, AL.  The boutique is celebrating their 20th year in business this year - congratulations, ladies!!  We were lucky enough to work hands on with one of the owners, Dora, who has super chic taste.  We had so much fun.  See her Sidewalk inspired outfits below.

Day look:  This dress is lightweight and great for those hot August days in Alabama.  The pattern is beautiful and would be a good option to wear to the daytime film screenings.  The earrings are to die for!  The designer, Miguel Ases, is from Spain, and all of his jewelry is handmade.

Night look:  We love this Gucci inspired jumpsuit.  Blue is a popular color this season, and the style of this jumpsuit compliments many body types.  And how great are these bronze wedges?!  Not only do they look fabulous against a solid color, but they would also pair well with patterned pieces.

What to Wear: SOCA Clothing

The Sidewalk Film Festival is only ten weeks away!  We are teaming up with local boutiques to bring you inspiration on what to wear to the festival.  Each boutique is putting together two outfits, a casual day look and a dressier look to wear out to the after parties!

The first boutique we had the pleasure of working with is SOCA Clothing based out of Birmingham, AL.  Specializing in designer denim, SOCA has been in a Birmingham staple since opening in 2000 and has continued to grow with stores now in Nashville, TN and Tuscaloosa, AL.  Their talented team has great style, and we are excited to show you what they picked out!

First, the day outfit.  We are in love with this easygoing style.  This kimono is stunning thanks to the soft pink floral print, and we both wanted all of the jewelry!
